 Spring Festival Entertainment
There are lots of fun activities planned for our Family Day in March; the main feature of the day is the Easter Egg Hunt.
Easter Egg Hunt
To take part in our Ascot Easter Egg Hunt you will need to visit the starting tent based on the Plaza Lawns. Here you will need to pick up one of Scotty’s Activity Sheets. Scotty may need some help to answer the questions and that’s where you come in. Help Scotty by putting your answers on the sheet throughout the day. Once you have answers to all the questions bring your sheet back to the start point and pick up your Easter Egg to celebrate.
Handy Hint: Look out for the giant horse shoes!

Family Farm
Come and see all the fun on the farm! The farm will be open in the Plaza all day, we have loads of furry friends for you to come and see.
Visit Goat Mountain where you will be able to go in with the greedy goats to feed them snacks throughout the day. Visit Guinea Pig World as the chatty little critters tell you all about their new home. There is also the chance to see the little lambs, if you are lucky and near them at lunch time a few children will be able to give them their bottles. There will also be ponies, chicks, and ducks for you to see.
Falconry Display
There will be two falconry displays throughout the day, watch the masters of the skies soar effortlessly around the racecourse, in a truly memorable display. These birds of prey are on the Plaza Lawns all day so you can come and awe at the massive wingspan of the falcons or hold the baby owls.
Back to Nature
Have you seen the signs of Spring yet? Why not come down to meet the representatives from the Woodland Trust to learn more about the wildlife around the course and in your local area
The Woodland talk will begin with the dedication of the Colts & Fillies Tree to celebrate our third anniversary so join us here for a celebratory drink.
Watch it Grow
In the bottom of the Pavilion building we will hold a stall where you can plant a spring flower and watch it grow. Join us throughout the day to pot your plant with our gardening experts. Leave it with us and come and collect the plant at the end of the day.
